The most common main roads leading to the Lancaster area are Route 222 from Allentown and York,
and the PA Turnpike exiting at Denver / Reading South.

There is a local motel just across the rail road tracks: the Country Squire Inn which has a nice diner right next door.

New Holland also has a Comfort Inn.

New Holland has several well-known Amish Restaurants, and there are many quaint Amish shops, flower stands, and craft markets.
