CLUB STATUS

This newest club in the EPHPA Charter continues to grow and improve its facilities (information updated 11/21/09).

GENERAL LOCATION

Selinsgrove, Pa.,at East Snyder Park [ESP} on University Ave, west of Susquehanna University

DIRECTIONS

Entering Selinsgrove from the south,on Rts 11 & 15, turn left at the Post Office [traffic light} onto University Ave and proceed approx.11/2 miles to ESP on your left

Entering Selinsgrove from the north,on Rts 11 & 15, turn right onto Rt 522.Proceed west for 1.8 miles to a 4 way intersection and turn left onto University Ave. Go a short distance to ESP on your right.

Approaching Selinsgrove from the west on Rt 522 watch for a large RVsales lot [Salem RV Center] and turn right at the next 4 way intersection onto University Ave. Go a short distance to ESP on your right.

DESCRIPTION OF PITS

9 outdoor courts [newly built in 2007] with clay and sand mixture. The courts have concrete pitching platforms and full length concrete walkways. Issues with the lighting system have been resolved (2009).

MEMBERSHIP & LEAGUE ACTIVITY

Club membership has increased to 29 members which includes 5 women.

Singles league continues on Tuesdays, but the club has now also started a doubles league on Thursdays.

Courts open to the public at other times.

DESCRIPTION OF FACILITY

The club has built a beautiful pavilion (2009) with a built-in storage area
